01Focaccia, of course
For a savoury breakfast, a snack or something to take to the beach, step into a bakery. We suggest Panetteria del Corso and Dama, but Santa’s other focaccia shops are worth a stop too.
Try classic focaccia, cheese focaccia or onion focaccia; and take a look at the savoury pies and the day’s bread too.

02Friday at the market
On Friday mornings the market starts in Piazza San Siro and continues along Corso Matteotti. We enjoy browsing the food stalls and choosing something for lunch.
For everyday groceries, the San Siro Coop supermarket is a short walk from the apartment.
03A Ligurian dinner to prepare at home
In fresh pasta shops, look for pansotti with walnut sauce or trofie with pesto: just bring them home and dinner is almost ready. In Largo Amendola you will also find Pasta Fresca da Renato, near the Gepi gelato shop.
04To finish, a gelato
Our favourite is Gepi’s. You can stop at Gepi Mare, near the harbour, or at the original shop in Largo Amendola. It is a treat we are always happy to enjoy.
